The Stuttgart cruise operator Nicko cruises, in cooperation with the mobility start-up vroom rental, offers electrically powered bicycles, scooters and mobility scooters for shore leave for its river boat guests. It starts in the ports of Rüdesheim, Mainz, Wiesbaden, Koblenz and Boppard. Amsterdam, Vienna and Strasbourg will follow later this year. Good to know: All devices are fully comprehensive insured.
The Stuttgart-based cruise expert is thus responding to the increasing need of its guests for individual shore excursions as a supplement to its diverse excursion program. In the future, “e-bikes”, “e-choppers” or “e-mobiles” can be conveniently ordered from on board – even at short notice and spontaneously the evening before. vroom rental then makes the devices available the next day – including instruction. These can then be easily returned directly to the ship.
E-bike, e-motorcycle or e-scooter?
On the classic e-bike, guests can look forward to reliable BOSCH components and a low entry. Helmet and lock are included. All you need for the “E-Chopper” is a driver’s license – you can explore the area on extra-wide tires and with a powerful battery. A helmet is also included here.
