The mechanical engineer and business economist Harald Schlarb has been working in the automotive industry for over 30 years. His career has taken him from Mercedes Benz to Maybach, McLaren and also to Tesla. He was the planning lead for the German Giga Factory in Berlin Brandenburg. He has been a volunteer on the advisory board of eROCKIT Aktiengesellschaft for a year.
Mr. Schlarb, you have been a volunteer on the advisory board of eROCKIT Aktiengesellschaft for a year. Would you please give us a brief summary.
Schlarb: When you see what has been created here in Hennigsdorf in a short time, you can only say that the company has achieved an incredible amount.
Why are you committed to the Brandenburg company?
Schlarb: I am fascinated by the corporate culture and technology at eROCKIT. There are real doers at work here who understand their tasks. Performance, precision and design can be seen here combined with innovation.
What makes eROCKIT special?
Schlarb: eROCKIT has developed the fastest eBike approved for road traffic with the vehicle of the same name and has brought it to customers in the first series. The special thing is the human hybrid drive, which makes it possible to reach speeds of up to 100 km/h by simply pedaling. Due to its strong performance parameters, the eROCKIT is approved as a motorcycle in the 125cc category (light motorcycle).
What are eROCKIT’s future plans?
Schlarb: In the future, eROCKIT will also make its drive technology available in other areas for new applications. eROCKIT will implement the technology on land, on water and in the air and we will see fantastic products.
