Now in their third generation, the two are forward-looking and responsible, with respect for the roots and the original. Wolfgang Gröller is a hotelier, landlord and tour guide. No sooner has he been in the restaurant than you meet him again on the lake, where he shows guests his homeland in his Plätte – a traditional wooden boat. The 1,000-year-old monastery, the famous fisherman’s chancel of the parish church or the Calvary – it’s well worth exploring the town. The most beautiful view of Lake Traunsee can be enjoyed from the Bootshaus restaurant. The cuisine is simple, straightforward and reduced to the essentials, yet refined and cosmopolitan –
